Last Chance for Popcorn Pickup!!!

All - thank you for turning in whatever popcorn you had outstanding - if you've got it in your possession now, you own it! I'll be sending out invoices for the remainder in the next couple of days. Payment needs to be received in the next couple of weeks.

IF YOU STILL NEED TO PICK UP POPCORN TO FULFILL AN ORDER, I NEED TO KNOW ASAP!!! The remaining popcorn inventory is going back tomorrow morning, and I can't get you more after that time. Please make sure you let me know ASAP, so I can put it aside for you, so it doesn't get returned. Contact any way you can:

- email
- text
- phone call
- Google hangouts message
- Instagram direct message
- flag me down in the neighborhood
- stop by my office
- throw bricks with notes taped to them at my garage

(and I'm only half-kidding on the last several).

Thanks!

Quick message from the Popcorn Kernel about final turn in

Pack 148 Families:

Just a reminder that ALL popcorn money and unsold popcorn is DUE NO LATER THAN THIS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 30TH! If it's not turned in by Wednesday night, you own it, and owe the money for it! I CANNOT accept popcorn returns after Wednesday night!

Please try to sell whatever remaining popcorn you have!

To be as accommodating as possible, I'll be available at the Warehouse during the following times:

Tuesday, the 29th, 6:00pm-9:00pm
Wednesday, the 30th, 6:00pm-9:00pm

If you're unable to meet either of those times, please arrange another time with me ASAP!

If you still need items, that's great! We still have some product to fill orders but just a few of the higher priced items.

Wednesday is also final day for me to place an order so if you still need something, I need to know about it by Wednesday.

As always, please let me know if you have any questions!

Fall Camp Out Feedback and Photos

Pack 148 Families,

We wanted to thank everyone that attended the Harry Potter Camp out at Camp Oyo October 11th - 13th! We saw many exciting moments from the Scouts and their families. We wanted to make sure we share some information with you and to also gain some feedback on how the leaders setup this event and how to make our next Pack camp out better!
  • Harry Potter patches were given to each of the den leaders this past Tuesday. If you didn't receive any, see your den leader.

  • We have setup a survey for each family to take when you have a spare 5 minutes. This really helps the leaders understand how we did during this camp out and what we can do differently to make the next camp out perfect for you, your Scouts, and your families. https://www.hilliardbsapack148.org/fall-camp-out-2019-feedback

  • We have stated at Google photo album so each family can share their photos and also download one of your Scouts that maybe you were not able to capture. We will also be posting the best photos to our Facebook page our website. Please help contribute to make this photo album magical. https://photos.app.goo.gl/oV9LrH2zfQDFokdD8

If you need anything else from either of us or any leader, please let us know!

Your Magical Professors,

Nick Goessl & John Yocom

Prepare to depart for the Harry Potter Fall Family Camp Out!

To all families planning on attending the Harry Potter Fall Campout at Camp Oyo:

With our Fall Family Campout at Camp Oyo fast approaching, you may have some questions about the gear to bring with you. Attached is basic checklist we put together for Cub Scout camping, with some of my notes. I know that if you've never camped before, this can be a daunting preparation. Please don't hesitate to reach out to any leader if you have questions about what to bring or what it will be like. Remember to pack for the weather! (Pack 148 packing list)

Saturday’s events start at 9AM until 5PM. We will then have dinner and then wrap up the evening with other activities from 7PM – 10PM. More information will be sent out about Saturday nights campfire with the pack (expect great things and tons of fun!)

Camp Oyo is located at 168 Shawnee Rd, West Portsmouth, Ohio 45663. Camp Oyo opens at 5:00 PM on Friday. We are still looking for some adults to help setup camp before all the families arrive. If you are interested in leaving early on Friday October 11th, please send an email to pack148events@gmail.com.

Remember, the cooking will be done as a Pack, so you won't need to bring any camp stoves, cooking tools, or the like. Just a mess kit (plate, bowl, and utensils, inexpensive is perfect!) will be needed.

Can't wait to see you there!

Camp Address:
