Creeking!
The Scouts enjoyed the warm weather in the Scioto Darby Creek. The Scouts looked for fossils, rocks, shells, fish, and crawfish. Another fantastic outing for Pack 148! Thanks to Jenn Heimann for finding the location and sharing her secret spot for the scouts to enjoy!
Hilliard 4th of July Parade
Scouting 148 (Cub Scouts, Boy Troop, Girl Troop, and Crew) from Hilliard United Methodist Church, put forth their best foot on the parade float. This was the first year the Scouts put together a float with the help of many volunteers. This years theme was “Freedom to the moon and back”.
We are proud of the volunteers and the turn out for the parade from all the parents and Scouts. This year we were named the best youth float and best parade float overall!
A special thank you to Mutters & Deep Green Lawn Service for providing the trailer and a truck to tow the award winning float!
