You are invited to the Simon Kenton Council Shoot-O-Ree & Cub Scout Camp-O-Ree on September 26th and 27th!
Enjoy many of the best parts of Day Camp through this always popular Council event at Camp Lazarus. Come to camp and enjoy shooting BB guns, Archery, Catapults, and Slingshot. However, the Shoot-O-Ree involves so much more than shooting sports. You and your Scout can enjoy leatherwork, mini golf, human foosball, fishing, and much more!
Also this year, is an exciting new event, the Cub Scout Family Camporee. This event will provide Cub Scouts of all ages the opportunity to earn up to two adventure for their rank, by participating in a den for the evening, concluding with a campfire program and of course, treats. Families will be able to camp overnight on the 26th. The cost for the Camporee for each scout is $25 and each parent is $10 ($25 for each scout gets two days of the Shoot-O-Ree, dinner and a quick serve breakfast. The $10 fee for each parent gets a dinner and a quick serve breakfast).
This is an excellent chance for your Scouts to camp and earn an adventure or two, all while enjoying all that Camp Lazarus has to offer. You also will see some of our Pack's leaders as "den leaders" for the Camporee, along with many other leaders from around the Council. So come join us!
Registration and more info is at the link below. If you have difficulty accessing, please contact Mrs. Heimann or Mr. Goessl. You will need to register for the 2 day registration, and then add meals. Adults don't have to register, just Scouts. However you will need to add meals for yourself.
For example Reid Heimann is attending and spending the night. So for two days of Shoot O Ree and one camping night, plus dinner, cracker barrel and breakfast it is $25. Mrs. Heimann is going as well so she would pay $10 for the meals. Total cost for Reid and Mrs. Heimann is $35.
DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS SEPTEMBER 19TH. 2020

If prompted, the meeting Code or ID is: 6143275205 If prompted, the meeting password is: (Please see the email from Scoutbook today sent about 5:30pm) --> Very important: When you are signing in please list your name as follows: First Name, Last Initial -- Den Rank So if you are in Mr Wilkins Bear Den you would use: Charlie W--Bear Why? Because we are going to try and do Den Breakout's for 5-10 minutes at the end of the meeting. We do have a few families with multiple Scouts so if they can use different devices that would be helpful. If they can't, for the breakout, we will send them to the youngest Scout's Den this week and the other Den Leader can follow up. We look forward to seeing everyone at 7pm and remember to sign in first name, last initial -- Den rank (Lion/Tiger/etc).
